Your brain doesn't stop. Give it somewhere to go.
Speak the loop out loud instead of running it again. MyThoughts transcribes the ramble, pulls out what is actually actionable, and keeps the rest somewhere you can find it.
The same thought, forty times. A thought that has nowhere to land keeps coming back. Getting it out of your head once is what stops the rerun.
It always arrives at 11pm. The head gets loudest when it is time to sleep. Talking for two minutes is faster than writing, and does not wake you up.
Notes apps make it worse. A blank note asks you to organise while you are still spiralling. You end up with a wall of text you never reopen.
Frequently asked questions
Does this replace journaling?
It is not a journaling app, so it does not try to. There are no prompts, entries or streaks of pages. You speak your mind, and anything actionable inside the ramble becomes a task or a goal instead of sitting in a paragraph.
Do I have to organise what I say?
No. That is the point. You speak in whatever order things arrive and MyThoughts does the sorting after the fact.
Is it private?
